Igniting Love with Vudu

What you need:

a pink candle
pink construction paper or thin cardboard and a scissors a plate
two cups of sugar
a spoon of ginseng powder
a spoon of cinnamon

First, cut out a figure from the construction paper.
Then, light the candle.
Write your intention on the back of the paper figure as precisely as possible. For this spell, you call upon Erzulie by drawing her sign
(VEVE) with cornmeal in front of the candle. Explain your intention to her and ask for her help. Be honest, direct, and specific. Show her respect.



Write the first name of your future partner 13 times on the front of the figure. Cross out their first name once with your own. Mix the ginseng with the sugar in one cup and the cinnamon with the sugar in another cup. Place the figure on the plate. First, cover it with the sugar ginseng and then with the sugar cinnamon mixture. Insert the candle into the sugar ginseng mound while clearly stating your intention aloud. Let the candle burn for 13 minutes. Use the time for focused meditation. Extinguish the candle and leave everything as it is. For the next twelve nights, call upon Erzulie and light the candle at the same time, also for 13 minutes each time. After a total of 13 nights, let the candle extinguish by itself. Bury all remaining scraps and wax drippings under a tree in nature.
