Samhain ritual to send the dead on their way

Samhain is the perfect time to put those noisy, or restless spirits to rest. Setting the dead to rest or banishing unwanted spirits that seem to be lingering around. It happens to most practitioners every once in awhile. There are also those spirits who seem to be unable to cross on for some reason but with well at it's thinnest the ritual will help you to push ut to the other side.

Ingredients:

-Photos or belongings to the deceased in question if known.
-White candle

Chant:

"Blessed be the season of Samhain, the harvest has come, the time for new life is done, ancestors hear me, your time here is done. Some now and as this candle burns so your time here dwindles. Once out I bid you goodnight, leave here pass through the veil never to return."

Light the candle and leave through the room, shutting the door behind you. Let the candle burn out completely through the night. Whatever you hear on the other side of the door don't open it.
